I helped manage the old MINI website for a number of years. The client decided it was time for a fresh new look. The German side of the company had recently updated their site and we were asked to take guidance from that.
The new website was huge, with a large amount of pages and lots of interactive elements. We allowed the client a way to customize the website themselves, so much so, that they could add whole range of cars, like the Countryman which launched soon after.
Built using Concrete5 Content Management System, which allowed the client to create their own content and to add pages.
